TL;DR: Vote for me!
Hi All,
coming from a state-school in Germany, I experienced first-hand how difficult the transition from school to university can be. It's not only the fast pace of lectures but also our different educational backgrounds which can cause difficulties at the beginning.
However, I'm confident that with good support mechanisms, we can overcome these challenges together and thrive in our study of Mathematics.
Having chaired several international Model United Nations conferences in Germany and Hungary, I'm confident that I have the necessary leadership, communication and discussion skills to represent you on your academic matters.
It goes without saying that you can always approach me in person or drop me a message if you face any issues concerning the workload, assessements or anything else.
In addition to that, you should vote for me for the following reasons:
- I will set up a plattform for you to send (anonymous) feedback (similar to the Maths Happiness Index)
- This feedback will be summarised and passed on to the people involved in Union / College meetings, so that the necessary steps can be taken to solve issues
NB: I have really enjoyed getting to know so many of you over the past few weeks. I especially admire our great cultural diversity, which is why I was able to pick up the following phrases:
- Vote for me!
- 投我一票
- 投票給我!
- Голосуйте за меня!
- मेरे लिए वोट करें!
- Vótame!
- Votez pour moi!
- and so many more...
Best,
Valentin
