Driven by my passion for fashion show, here is my vision as your next chair

Flow of the Show: Kick off with an opening DJ to set the mood, plus music throughout the show to fill in gaps and maintain energy

Photography: Prioritise venue lighting and increasing photographer coverage by considering external photographers and leveraging students (some of the best pics were from the audience). A fundraiser may help support this.

Early Planning: Leveraging my experience working closely with the former chairs and building upon their hard work, I plan to initiate early discussions on timelines, event proposals, forming committees, conducting model auditions, and securing venues promptly. Additionally, I aim to smoothen ticket purchases and explore adjusting pricing based on demand.

Innovative Sustainable Themes: Introduce some fresh walk concepts - Embracing our medical identity with "fashioned-up scrubs" and a vintage walk featuring outfits sourced entirely second-hand. Sustainability is a core pillar and the future of Fashion Show.

Host Engagement: Appointing hosts early, integrating them deeply into the show’s planning, enhancing their understanding of the walks and models, improving their on-stage chemistry.

My goal is to organise a memorable, unforgettable and impactful event that not only celebrates sustainable fashion but also brings the community together. Since I offer a novel perspective to help diversify fashion shows' reach, I can widen our inclusivity whilst maintaining the show’s positive environment.

With a proactive, problem-solving approach and a collaborative spirit, I am ready to make the next fashion show even more spectacular.
