Dear International Foodies Society members,

I'm Yuchen Liu, an Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate student passionate about global cuisines. Brimming with enthusiasm and a profound appreciation for the rich mosaic of global cuisines, I am here to vie for the role of Head of Culture of the International Foodies Society.

I have been an active member of the committee of the International Foodies Society since it was founded, mainly responsible for internal communication and events coordination. This experience has not only allowed me to meet friends and collaborators but also led me to realize that our culinary journey is not just about the taste experience. It's also an exploration and appreciation of the diverse cultures behind the creation of these delicacies. I sincerely hope to participate in the club's activities as the Head of Culture in the coming year, continuing to contribute to the club.

I aim to highlight cultural stories, unite us in our food passion, and lead us to discover new flavours and the stories behind them. My vision includes organizing events that blend tastings with education on each cuisine's cultural importance, fostering a platform for sharing our unique heritages through food.
