Hey guys! I’m a third year materials student and I’d love to be your USA society president.
Born and raised in our nation’s capital, I feel qualified to lead the society next academic year. In the past, I’ve worked in multiple society positions, and I’d like to apply those skills to our society.
I’m a proud American and would like the society to carry that said faith of our great nation. I believe that begins by doing more events and socials. American sports are a great social event in the US, and this should be reflected in the society with events around the NHL, NFL and other sports our members are interested in.
Taking inspiration from our infamous government, I want to create more committee positions in the society which mirror the departments within our government. Such as installing an officer of foreign affairs, who’s responsibility will be organizing joint events and helping other societies with their US themed events. These positions will allow the society to accomplish so much more, and lead this society into greatness.
