Giorgos Manolopoulos

My name is Giorgos and I would love to be your Imperial College Swim Captain in the year 2024/25. I have been training with the Imperial team for 2 years and have participated in 3 BUCS and numerous BUSL competitions, having become well-versed in the team’s spirit and culture.

As a captain next year, I have the following goals:

• create an organized and consistent training schedule in order to make a more competitive environment for those who seek it
• maintain flexible sessions come for fitness (or for those coming for the vibes)
• collaborate with the LUSL/BUSL captain to continue and expand the races that we are currently participating in.
• create a more social swimming atmosphere, encouraging everyone to participate in the weekly socials which are often overpowered by the polo players ;)

I am proud to have represented Imperial in races for the past two years and I am hoping that with your vote I will be able to lead and contribute to the team which has given so much to me.
