Chloe Buckingham

Hi everyone!

I’m Chloe and I’m standing as chair next year. This club means so much to me so the opportunity to run the club would be a responsibility that I won’t take lightly.

My current role as club secretary has provided me with lots of skills and insider scoop that will likely prove useful next year. As the current in-office President’s right-hand woman, I have learnt what to expect of the job. My super-hard work has provided me with both the training and hand-on experience needed for the role, as well giving me the opportunity to scheme and plot in preparation for next year - all for the good of the club of course.

From centrefold, naan-slapping at Miran’s, more BUSL galas, tour and post training strength & conditioning at the union, there are many traditions that I want to continue going forwards while preserving the inclusive and amazing nature of the club.

Just last year, not only did I have the privilege of being a Waterpolo newbie, but I was also awarded the prestigious title of TJ. This invaluable work experience provided me with the full experience of joining as a beginner and being bullied (in a healthy way…) by my superiors (everyone), to then playing as a more experienced BUCS player.
