Gonzalo Mugarra Mugarra

As Secretary for the Imperial Pokémon Society, I will diligently carry out my duties and fight for the society with all my might with the goal of leaving behind a better society than when I joined.

I have extensive experience in overlooking and maintaining the regular functioning of an organisation. In my previous school, I was the prefect entrusted with taking the minutes at our meetings with staff, and compiling them into a document to be shared with the attendees. I was also the Head of the RAF section of our school cadet force for a few years, which also improved my efficacy at replying to emails from other staff, booking rooms for our weekly sessions, and sending out communications to the cadets in addition to my other roles, such as preparing for each week's sessions and presentations to go with them. Juggling these roles, in addition to being the Deputy Head of House for my boarding house, meant I learned to use my time effectively in order not to get swamped by my various commitments.

In addition to this, beeing an avid and active member of the society and its community, I've gained an understanding of and appreciation for the work of the committee, and its continuous endeavour to make the society a cozy and welcoming place for everyone with a shared love of Pokémon, which I will continue to maintain should I become Secretary.

Thus, I believe I am a strong applicant for the position of Secretary.
