Ghassan Alhalabi

Hello everyone, this is Ghassan, a first year aeronautics student and your aspiring Blockchain Treasurer.

Nowadays, the Blockchain sector is growing at an exponential rate and it is being integrated more and more in today's society and industries. To reap the benefits of this growth, my main goals for the future will not be limited to the traditional roles of a Treasurer but also go above and beyond with the rest of the commitee and ensure everyone has a great and productive time.

If elected, my goals are the following:

• Increase funding and allocating it accordingly to grow and deveop the society and provide more resources for our members through hackathons, social events etc...
• Ensure transparency and compliance with regulations when it comes to fund management
• Organise events such as socials, networking, webinars and workshops within the university, with potential sponsors and even other universties.
  

I am confident in my skills and commitment and believe that makes me an excellent candidate for the position of treasurer and I look forward to helping you all.
