Radiology Society: Teaching Co-ordinator

Hi, I’m Veena and I would love to be the Teaching Co-ordinator for Radiology Society. I am committed to staying updated on the latest advancements in radiology and am enthusiastic to share this to create engaging educational events. With my proactive approach and innovative ideas, I am confident in my ability to contribute significantly to the society’s academic growth. I propose implementing weekly SBA questions and regular online tutorials which will comprehensively cover the pre-clinical curriculum to spark broader interests in radiology. Additionally, clinical years will benefit from junior doctor-led tutorials to improve exam skills and offer fresh perspectives on conditions. Exploring unique case studies on our social media will encourage critical thinking and diversify learning experiences. I believe collaborating with other medical societies will be pivotal in showcasing how radiology fits into the broader context of healthcare. Drawing from my experience in organising conferences, I am well-equipped to lead impactful academic initiatives. This involved extensive collaboration with medical professionals to co-ordinate keynote speakers and organise medical and surgical workshops. Therefore, I am excited to launch a speaker series targeting both clinical and non-clinical years, offering them insights into a career in radiology and unique case studies seen in the real world.
