Tejas Bantupalli

Hi guys,

My name is Tejas and I am currently a First-Year JMC. This obviously implies that I am pretty good with numbers, which is one criteria of becoming a Treasurer. Moreover, I am also a member of the Beta Sigma Club, a quantitative finance club with a large presence across Europe, and can confirm that I have the right skills in risk management and algorithmic trading strategies to find optimum ways of budgeting, having attended almost every Algocourse lecture this year, and having completed the Algocourse.

If elected I will try my best to include more and better networking opportunities with Quantitative Finance companies within our budget. This will ensure that members of this society can further understand careers in Quantitative Finance as well as find what role is best suited for them. Moreover, I will be transparent with how the money is spend within the society, and will be open to all suggestions on optimizing it further, while also working closely with the committee itself.

I will also work hard to invite knowledgable guest speakers to our events in order to gain valuable insight on applications of quantitative finance, as well as help provide better facilities to allow our members to learn more about Trading and Quantitative Finance. And yes, I will try to budget efficiently so that Pizza is provided in as many events as possible :) !
