I’m Huaihou, and I'm excited to run for the Sponsor Liaison within the Bioengineering Society.
Just as the respiratory system is crucial for our survival, our student society thrives on the supports and inspirations from established leaders in the bioengineering industry. These sponsorships are not merely financial contributions; they also provides constant inspirations that are vital to a society’s long-term growth.
In this role, my goal is to broaden our sponsorship network and maintain robust relationships with sponsors across various sectors of the bioengineering industry. I wish to work closely with our beloved Industrial Liaison Manager, Robert Ferguson, ensuring that sponsorship opportunities benefit all BioEng students. Whether your focus is molecular, biomechanical, bioelectronic, or computational bioengineering, I aim to make sure these opportunities resonate with you.
My commitment to our community extends beyond this role. As the Wellbeing Representative for my year, I've actively contributed to organizing networking events within our department. Additionally, I've co-founded a student consulting business with peers across Europe, specializing in IT and Biomedicine. This venture has not only broadened my exposure to the tech industry but has also allowed me to manage a LinkedIn network of over 800 professionals. I plan to leverage this network to connect with potential sponsors, further enriching our Bioengineering Society both financially and resourcefully.
