Khushi Srivastava

Hi everyone, my name is Khushi and I would love to be your treasurer this year.

Gastroenterology has always been one of the most interesting areas of medicine for me and my placements have inspired me to explore the fields further. This past year, as Academic Officer, I have organised tutorial series for Immunology and Pharmacology society and I hope to use these organisation and communication skills for planning future events. I have been involved in securing funds as part of Teddy Bear Hospital committee and taken part in event organisation for Medathon which has given me insights into budgeting.

As part of the committee, I aim to:

• Facilitate efficient budgeting planning and communication to allow smooth running of events
• Develop resources including tutorials and question banks for Phase 1
• Organise talks for students to learn about various career pathways and subspecialities
• Collaborate with other societies for social and academic events to increase outreach

With my enthusiasm and attention to detail, I will work hard to manage our finances efficiently. I look forward to gaining skills and working with the team.
