Amber Wadsworth
Hi! I am a second-year Medical Biosciences student who is passionate about the multidisciplinary field of clinical genetics and its potential impact for future advancements in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of many diseases.
I hope to support the society with expanding and maintaining its connections whether that be within Imperial, with industry partners or with other institutions and helping to organise events such as workshops and lectures.
With previous experiance as captain of my county football team I have the skillset required to help organise and run sessions, work as a team and to communicate effectively with others to achieve collective goals.
I am also proactive in seeking opportunities to expand my network and have attended relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars where I honed necessary networking skills which I aim to leverage as the External Liaison Officer.
By engaging with the broader clinical genetics community I hope to bring new resources and opportunities to this society whilst helping to increase awareness about clinical genetics.
Thank you :)
