Shweta Bhaskar

Hi I’m Shweta and I’m a third year medical student. I have always had an interest in anaesthetics and critical care and my experiences on placement with the anaesthetics team this year have furthered my passion for this specialty, so I would be honoured to have a chance at being a part of this committee. As part of Paediatrics subcommittee, I helped organise the annual conference and a significant portion of my role consisted of marketing and promotion, so I am aware of how important of a role publicity plays in a society’s success and am familiar with creating effective advertising schemes to help with promotion. As HinduSoc’s events officer this year I have helped organise several large events, including events in collaboration with other universities, so have developed many skills that are transferrable to this role, such as working closely with other members of a team and liaising with other societies and companies. I believe my skillset coupled with my interest in this field make me an ideal candidate for promotions officer and so I would greatly appreciate being considered for this role.
