Ella-May Hansford
Hello, we're Noor and Ella-May, both 4th-year students running to be your 2025 conference co-chairs! With 3 years of dedicated involvement in the ICOGS conference, we're excited to step up to the challenge of leading it. Our combined 5 years of experience, spanning various roles from Personnel Officer to President, have equipped us with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills. Beyond ICOGS, we've served in committee positions like Secretary and General Committee Member, broadening our skill set and fostering collaboration with peers.
Since meeting during placement and discovering our shared passion for O&G, we've not only formed a great friendship but have also worked together in many capacities, including a joint BSc project. We can confidently say that we make a good team, with a similar vision, and a positive, supportive leadership style. We recognize the importance of clear communication, leveraging our complementary strengths – Ella's proficiency in administrative aspects and main committee duties complements Noor's expertise in subcommittee management and on-the-day logistics.
The ICOGS conference is consistently one of the highlights of our year- we know how enjoyable it is and recognize the importance of running it successfully - not only for the delegates who attend but for the committee members who work to bring it about.
