Shreya Mehta

Hi everyone! I’m Shreya, a second-year medic, and I would love to be your next conference chair for Endocrinology! As someone who has been to this year’s Endo conference, I am super keen about the specialty, having explored it through lectures and placement at Chelsea Westminster Hospital. Being conference chair is no easy task, but I am confident that I have the skills necessary to make the conference its biggest and best yet! I have been in many leadership roles in both school and university, and I am a great team worker. I have skills in Canva and iMovies, which will help with the promotional aspect of the conference, and I am able to communicate with others well to achieve a mutual goal. I have good time-management and organisational skills as well as fun new ideas that we can implement to draw more people into EndoSoc (did I hear someone say workshops... where you can monitor your own hormone levels during fun activities?).

To be endocrinology conference chair would be a great opportunity, not only to cultivate interest in the field, but also to help further my own organizational and teamwork skills. I am keen to bring my very best to this society so vote for Shreya!
