To me, Afrogala is a celebration of our rich culture, heritage and the vibrancy of our community. As your Afrogala coordinator it will be my goal to form a planning committee early on that reflects the wide variety of cultural backgrounds found in the ACS. This will help to guarantee that every background is represented whether it be through storytelling, art, history, dance, musical talent and more. I will liase closely with various societies and organisations to ensure that everyone who wishes, is empowered to collaborate in the event through their preferred creative outlet. My guarantee is to enhance both our own and others' understanding of our culture, showcase our talent, and contribute to creating a memorable, immersive experience for all.
