Hey everyone! Zi here from DE3.
This year, I was part of your events team, you may have seen me around organising the various Dessoc events this year!
- With experience leading within other societies, projects, and internships, I believe I can ensure the best society in Imperial is successful. I’ve gained the skills to manage complex operations as well as take on significant financial responsibility.
- We all appreciate the value that Ideas Lab and ACE bring. As a lab expert, I have gained knowledge of the operation as well as key insights into how to make the space more accessible, practical, and efficient - for any project. I will work closely with the team next year to implement this.
- Uni is amazing, but we all know how important internships are for our future. I plan on creating abundant and deep connections with companies to allow us all to find internships and placements that truly set us up for the next stage in life.
- Considering Deseng’s wide culture/diversity, I plan on collaborating with other societies, unis, venues, and industry to host bigger and more inclusive events - social or academic, involving everyone in key decisions, letting you all decide what events should be run - alumni included!
It's my final year next year. Honestly, I’m not sure what I’ll be doing after uni. But there is one thing I know for sure - I will make next year the best year Dessoc has ever seen. ;)
