Caroline Zhang

Hello everyone, I’m Caroline Zhang from first-year chemistry. I appreciate having the opportunity to nominate myself as Secretary for chemsoc next year.

Since the beginning of my Imperial Journey, Chemsoc has been so helpful for me to set in uni life and studies and has always given me a sense of belonging. After receiving so much support from this lovely community, I would also like to make some contributions next year.

Why me:

• I work efficiently and like to do paperwork📝, which makes me a reliable candidate for the secretary role.
• With the experience of a first-year academic representative, I got a deeper insight into our department’s vision and our fellow students’ voices. By bringing these ideas to Chemsoc next year I believe we can make it even more perfect.
• My enthusiasm for Chemistry alongside my 🩷Love 🩷for all people in our department will guarantee my dedication.

My plans:

• Keep efficient tracking of all meetings and events of Chemsoc next year. Teamwork with the rest of the committee to ensure well-organized communication between us and also with the rest of the department.
• Share my creative ideas and support with the committee, and bring more fun stuff for students next year.
