More events and more free food – what more could you want from Biochem soc? With me as treasurer, you can feel reassured that the finances of the society are in the best hands possible. Hi, I’m Ben – a second year biochemistry student and I’m relying on your vote as I’m running for the position of Treasurer for Biochem soc. With previous experience in handling finances, I hope to apply my experience in the position – ensuring that all finances are handled in an appropriate and professional way – whilst being completely transparent.

With the satisfaction of you as my main objective, I will do everything in my power to:

1. Pursue money-saving opportunities, such as discussing discounts with vendors and exploring possible sponsorship opportunities

2. Closely follow financial compliance to ensure that the society runs the best events possible.

3. Encourage every member of the society to be involved in financial decisions and event planning through feedback sessions and feedback boxes.

4. Regularly update financial records and ensure that the whole committee is well rehearsed on the financial state of the society, with emphasis on collaboration of the whole society.

With my energy, and your support I’m eager to take on the responsibility of Treasurer and with the rest of the committee, propel Biochem soc to the best society around.
