Hey everyone, my name is Jon, a second year Design Engineering student. As a British born Chinese who has lived in Essex for the past 10 years, my goal is to enhance the appeal of the ABACUS experience to make it as enjoyable as it can ever be. Recognizing the importance of food in our culture, I am committed to prioritizing subsidized, unlimited, all-you-can-eat events.
I aspire to excel as a Vice-President, I am someone who enjoys talking and meeting people very much, approachable and friendly. Being a member for more than a year and been to countless events: End of Year Clubbing, Ten10, Winter Ball, Christmas Dinner, CNY, Unlimited Sushi and many more. I can utilise my experience and interpersonal skills to the advantage that can be used for securing sponsors for events, potentially leading to reduced ticket prices for all of us.
As vice-president, I envision ABACUS as a community that embraces members from diverse courses and backgrounds, fostering strong bonds and lifelong relationships. Therefore, I am dedicated to improving not just internal but all London universities ABACUS events that cater to all members, aiming to diversify and create more fun events like Take Me Out.
