Oscar Cunningham

Hi, I’m Oscar, your current male mixed captain and fixture sec hopeful for next year. I think by now you’ve all seen my mixed hockey emails, which I hope proves to you I can get things organised and done on time.

I want to be fixture sec as I really care about ICHC. The club has been a big part of my life for the last two years, allowing me to make friends whom I would never have met otherwise. Just as importantly, it’s helped me stay healthy (barring one or two knocks on the pitch) and allows me to let my competitive spirit out every week to help the team. I want to help make sure that others can enjoy the club as much as I have. I have also found being part of committee this year very rewarding and I would like to step up more next year.

I will be on top of fixtures next year from August, when they are published, and readily contactable for any emergencies that may arise on Wednesdays or Sundays. As those who have been to mixed hockey know, I’m always organised about coordinating the team. I’m also prepared to wrangle umpires for the club, whether that be Solly and Des, London Umpires, or contacts through my local London club.
