Hi everyone! I'm Tejas and I'm standing for your secretary at HinduSoc this year. Anyone who knows me knows that I am an obsessive organiser. I love reaching out and connecting with people around me and as Head of Events at my high school, I was responsible for planning and executing events through the year that attaracted over 500 attendees. From musical concerts to inter-school sports tournaments, I realised I get my energy from the people around me and getting them together. Also, as an active member of the subcommittee, I have gained invaluable experience planning and executing Hindu Soc events. I was in charge of planning the Ram Aarti that happened in January. From coordinating the location of the event, to designing the social media content to panicking about where the Ram Murti would come from, I enjoyed every second of it!
As secretary of HinduSoc, I am confident that I will be able to apply my previous experience to ensure that all HinduSoc events run smoothly and we are able to function efficiently in ideating, planning and executing events. I will coordinate between the members of the committee, and ofcourse between you all and the committe to ensure that all ideas that people have for events are heard and given a fair chance to be executed.
