Hello ICSM Badminton members!! My name is Marco and I am excited to be running for your Treasurer. Being the social secretary for ICSM badminton last year I realised the importance of keeping on top of funding and finances. I wish through my aims below I can make ICSM badminton a more accessible and wealthy society!

1. Sponsorships - We all love freebies, however with ICSM badminton being such a huge society why do we not get anything for free? That is exactly what my job is. I will be cold calling and cold emailing loads and loads of shops from Yonex to T4, boba tea back to shuttlecock, trying everything I can do to get freebies for all of our lovely badminton players.
2. Security - Having played badminton for almost 10 years now, my right arm muscles are built in a very strong and tough manner. I will utilise this part of my body as a means of protecting and securing all the ICSM badminton assets keeping it safe and secure.
3. Budgeting - With my experience as a social secretary, I am able to predict the expenses and also the income of the society making me the perfect candidate to budget, plan and foresee for any financial difficulties. I am also familiar with using "e-activities" to apply for bursaries and also submit budget plans to the union to make sure our finances are as “loaded” as possible.
