Indonesian: Junior Treasurer

Hi! I hope Imperial has been treating you well!

My name is David, a first-year undergraduate at Imperial studying Mathematics, and I’ll be running for the position of Treasurer.

As a treasurer, I will ensure that the finances are managed responsibly by thoroughly recording the expenditures and incomes of the society. I plan to optimally use the organization's funds for events to ensure the long term financial-stability of the society and to increase the opportunity for cheaper events. I am going to effectively communicate with the other committee members and provide budget planning to make sure that all events can be enjoyable and affordable.

I’ve also gained a lot of experience managing the finances of organizations, as I was involved in a few of them back in high school.

Having lived in Indonesia my whole eighteen years, I felt very homesick. I'm sure you are, too. Thus, I will make sure that the events at Indosoc will make all Indonesians in Imperial feel like home. I think that I have the necessary skills to contribute to Indosoc as a treasurer, and I look forward to working with fellow Indosoc committees.
