Veer Tandon

Dear EEE Society Members,

I am excited to run for the position of EESOC Treasurer, and contributing to the enhancement of our EE society. I have had various leadership experiences that make me the perfect candidate for this role. I have served as the former Head of Finance for Model United Nations and have had various participation opportunities in finance-based positions. I thereby possess strong skills in accounts management, invoicing, and inventory control which are crucial to this role being held accordingly. As a candidate, my key strengths lie in being responsible, hardworking, and a team player. I am committed to fulfilling the duties of the Treasurer role with dedication and precision.

Having served as the Imperial College second-year departmental representative, I understand the university's dynamics and have also had opportunities to work with the department staff to improve student life and well-being. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to EESOC's success by bringing in new ideas and collaborating with the team to enhance our society's overall experience. I look forward to also delivering key existing initiatives such as the EESOC Careers fair, Society Bar Night and the Annual Society Dinner/Ball. Through effective financial management, creative event planning, and a commitment to our members, I aim to create a fruitful and positive impact on our EE Society.
