Laura Gordon

Hey everyone!

I’m Laura, a first-year biology student and I am running to be your Costume Manager!

My dance journey began at the age of 4 and I have loved being part of the intermediate jazz team this year.

I believe that the right costume is essential to performing your best.

Look good, feel good!

I am excited to work alongside our wonderful directors to choose costumes that bring the ideas to life.

When I worked in retail, I gave styling advice to customers. I also volunteered at my local charity shop, where I was given creative license to coordinate outfits for the shop floor display. In both roles, I organised clothes in the stock room to maintain ease of access.

As Head Girl, my team and I were responsible for ordering our leavers hoodies. We collected order preferences from the year group and chose the final design. When organising other events including a Galentine’s Day bake sale, a talent show and a Disney activity day we stayed within our budget without compromising on execution.

I am excited to enhance our costume portfolio and welcome the freshers in September!
