Amelia Farrow-Foster

Hello girls! I’m Amelia and would LOVE to be your CC next year. You probably know, I “eat, sleep, breathe netball” and would be honoured to lead the netball club to be the biggest slay next year!

I have committee experience, including lots of correspondence with IA (😘Nick😘). I am familiar with how BUCS &LUSL run, and have organised the inter-year tournament this year. I am involved socially, from planning dinners to running FERAL circles. I am currently treasurer of GP soc so am familiar with eActivities – all this combined means I have a great skill-set for CC.

My goals for next year as your CC:

• ICSMNC 🏃‍♀️Run🏃‍♀️ Club! – I will promote fitness training making it super fun and accessible to everyone. Starting as a Run Club, I would then include gym sessions and other fun activities!
• “Meet the Intercalators” social before freshers’ week to welcome our lovely new 4^th
• First ICSM Netball FUNDRAISER! E.g. a mini-inter-club sports day!
• Coaches – I will *endeavour* to find 2 new coaches - 1 for socials, 1 for competitive players. I will also have options for training for 🚨emergency use🚨 if coaches do not turn up🙄
• More UH spaces so more people get to experience the chaos of UH curry!
• Match transport – help to subsidise train tickets, but at best organise minibus testing in the summer term.
• I would bring back Committee tour (or social equivalent) to ensure proper committee bonding🤪❤️‍🔥
