The thought of entering university was rather daunting, as I was entering a new environment without any friends or family. However, ICUMS has been a heartwarming society where I could feel comfortable and was like a home away from home for me. My passion to run for President stems from my desire to create a safe space for all Malaysians to be able to relax and take a step back from the harsh university life in a land so far away from home. In the past, I have held multiple leadership positions in the past, requiring me to lead teams and provide the necessary push and emotional support during times of pressure. I believe the qualities I possess make me a suitable candidate to lead ICUMS.

My main goals for this society is to:

1. Increase the participation rate of members in events

2. Improve career events and build better relationships with alumni and sponsors

3. Create a more tightknit community through the buddy family system

4. improve publicity and marketing of the society

Overall, I hope to build a strong foundation for the future committees to build upon. With my experiences as a Career Associate for ICUMS and being an active member in MNight alongside my leadership skills, I believe I have a strong understanding of the society and am able to grow this society to greater heights. I hope that you will consider me to lead and create a home away from home for all Malaysians.
