My name is Zelin Shao, and I am excited to elect for the position of CGCU Alumni Officer again for next year. I am dedicated to championing the impactful role of alumni networks in shaping successful careers. My commitment lies in nurturing strong connections between our alumni community and current students.

This year, I have taken on the role of Alumni Officer within CGCU, where I spearheaded various events, including the Alumni Bar Night and Karaoke Night. Through these initiatives, I successfully provided students with valuable opportunities to engage in networking and establish connections with our esteemed alumni. The planning and execution of these events have not only allowed me to gain experience but have also deepened my understanding of the significance of fostering alumni-student relationships.

I am confident in my suitability for this role, having consistently demonstrated effective and confident communication throughout my academic and professional journey, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
